Projects
More acrylics made during Christmas holidays. The cowboy painting is inspired by a photograph by Luke Gilford; the Bacchus panting is a painting of a statue by Erik Gustaf Göthe.
Was gifted acrylics by my lovely siblings and their partners for my birthday. (Much more practical to use at home than oil …). They’ve so far been turned into a pink Perflex and a reimagination of Mapplethorpe’s iconic “Embrace”, featuring Axel and myself.
Learned new things in Blender (thanks Axel!) resulting in some intestines and a magic sci-fi crystal, and painted myself as Joan of Arc on Perflex (oil on canvas).
Started exploring geometry nodes and space settings in blender, inspired by one of my research projects in which I found carbonic interstellar molecules that looked like jellyfish. (I made a version with that molecule as well but I don’t dare to show it before my paper has been published).
Some projects from 2023; oil on canvas, aquarelle and pencils
